Infant & Toddler Demonstration Class
Are you a parent or grandparent eager to forge a deeper bond with your infant or toddler? Have you ever hoped for a simple yet comprehensive "instruction manual" to raise an independent, intelligent and confident child? How difficult was it to find reliable sources of information that was applicable yet in line with your personal philosophy of raising your child?
Your search ends here. Our Infant & Toddler Demonstration Class will allow you to become an expert parent and/or caregiver that is confident and competent.
Gain skills and techniques to be receptive to your child's every need, to effectively facilitate day to day activities, and to build a trusting and respectful relationship with your child.
Inspired by the theories of Dr Emmi Pikler (founder of the Pikler Institute) and Magda Gerber (founder of RIE®), the objective of the class is to help parents and caregivers gain awareness and finesse in facilitating child development.
Led by Ms Charmaine Soh Chian Mui and her team, the Infant & Toddler family classes are designed with the needs of parents and families in Asia. Ms Soh had studied and practiced directly under Magda Gerber. She also studied at the Pikler Institute and received training from Anna Tardos (daughter of Dr Emmi Pikler).
“If you can help parent to perceive and accept the child at his own developmental level, and to laearn how to understand and respond to his needs, you can prevent problems before they develop, rather than have the difficult job of undoing them later in life."
- Magda Gerber, Found of RIE
