Orientation Guide |
|
Dear Parents,
The objective for arranging an orientation session is to provide an opportunity to familiarize your child with the place (the school), the people (both teachers and children) and the program (routine) in the International Department.
Please note that Orientation session is not a trial session, class teachers are not obliged to teach your child during this session.
We seek your cooperation in order to obtain a fruitful and smooth session for both your child and our children.
-
Please be seated on the Adult chair and stationed in the area that we have prepared for you. This is to ensure a peaceful environment for our children.
-
Your child is encouraged to explore the classroom on his/her own. However, you have to advise him/her to respect others' work by seeking approval from the person.
-
All the working materials in the classroom have a proper way of handling and operating; we would appreciate if you can advise your child to ask permission before he removes them from the shelf, even if they were left on the table or on the mat.
-
Please do not initiate any activity for your child during the orientation session, you may encourage him/her to observe, as observation is a way of learning;
-
Never sneak away without saying good-bye to your child and without informing the teacher.
-
The orientation is strictly to one hour only. As lessons would proceed at usual, we would appreciate minimum interruption to the on-going classes.
The school will not be liable and held responsible for any injury, damage, loss thereof, to any person or property thereby belonging to owner accounted during the orientation session.
Thank You
Principal, Greentree Montessori
